Quinnebaugh Meadows - June 9th 2006
My wife, Amy, and I hiked 5 miles into this beautiful meadow. Some really cold clouds kept lowering on us, to the point we thought it was going to blizzard. We thought about turning back, but instead prayed that the Lord would clear things up for us and kept going. Within 10 minutes of our arrival to the meadow, the sun came out and I was able to paint. And within 15-20 minutes of finishing painting and some snacks, it socked in again and began to rain fairly hard. We had to walk back in the rain – but it was great!
"Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His loving kindness is everlasting." – Psalm 107:1
Dwarf Lake – August 8-9th 2006
We stayed here for a couple days – its one of my favorite places in the Beartooths – lots of memories here growing up.
My beautiful wife reading as I paint.

Here I am starting "Beartooth Evening". Swarming mosquitos and intermittent rain helped me complete it a little quicker. |

Lakecreek – August 13th 2006
A quick day-hike in the Beartooths with great weather, no mosquitos, and the company of my wife – it doesn’t get much better than this.
